Ride4Kids TEAM 124

During the 2025 season, 99 cyclists collected Swiss passes and generated a total of CHF 51,795 for children in need through their sporting efforts and personal fundraising.
ABOUT the project

TEAM124 Ride4Kids combines sporting challenges with social engagement in a unique way. The format focuses on Switzerland's 124 official mountain passes – from well-known classics to remote insider tips. The goal is to collect as many of these passes as possible by bike and thereby generate donations for children in need.

Each participant in TEAM124 committed to a minimum donation of CHF 124 – symbolic of the 124 passes. With an average donation of CHF 161, the team significantly exceeded this target and raised almost CHF 16,000 from participation fees alone.

Throughout the season, passes were completed individually, in groups, or on multi-day tours. Each pass completed was not only a sporting achievement, but also another step toward a good cause.

Particularly impressive: five participants actually conquered all 124 official Swiss mountain passes in a single season – an extraordinary achievement that demonstrates endurance, planning, and a passion for cycling.

In addition, several dancers launched personal fundraising campaigns as part of the Big Dance. These individual fundraising initiatives mobilized friends, family, and networks, raising an additional CHF 35,382.

The result: a strong joint commitment with a total donation amount of CHF 51,795 made possible by 99 motivated participants.

TEAM124 Ride4Kids impressively demonstrates how digital tracking, athletic goals, and real-life experiences can work together to create meaningful exercise.
